FREN 101 Elementary French I (4 credits)
General Education: Humanistic and Artistic Ways of Knowing, International
Pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, spoken French, and functional grammar. Students identified by the instructor as having some degree of French proficiency must take the placement exam. Students with French experience who place higher than FREN 101 on the placement exam may not enroll in FREN 101, but may earn credit for FREN 101 by successfully completing a higher vertically-related course.
